Nutella

For my recipe of homemade Nutella, you need...

1 1/2 cups whole hazelnuts
about 1 1/2 cups milk (I used almond milk)
about 3/4 cups honey (you can add more or less depending on how sweet you like it)
about 1 1/2 cups cocoa (just plain cocoa)

On a rimmed baking sheet, toast the hazelnuts at 400*F for 10 minutes or until the skins begin to pop. After, remove the skin by rubbing them in a towel. It's not imperative to get the skin completely off. While warm, blend them in a food processor (I use a Ninja blender) until they are well ground. They may even become thick and pasty, like peanut butter.

Warm the milk, honey and cocoa in a saucepan over medium heat until it begins to boil. Add the mixture to the ground nuts and begin to process until well blended and smooth. Make sure it tastes good. :) You can add more milk, honey, nuts or chocolate to make it taste the way you like it. I like more of a bittersweet taste. This makes about 2 cups. If it is runny, don't worry! It thickens up in the fridge.

It tastes really good with strawberries! Mmmmm. :)
